Race Simulation

Over the last two days we have been working on full length runs, and trying to simulate race conditions as closely as possible. The courses have been challenging, but not far off of what is likely to be set at the team trials races. It has been a good taste of what next weekend is going to be like. Although for myself it has left a bitter taste in my mouth. It seems I have not really gained all the much ground on the top boats over the last year of training. I seem to be struggling to find speed on this course and there is only five days left till the raceing begins. At this point I am not worried because the things that are going wrong seem very easy to fix. I have figured out most of the tickiest parts of the course. I find that it's little things that I need to focus on, and I should be able to adjust my racing to fix these minute problems.
